PostSubject: Hello and welcome   Hello and welcome EmptyFri Jun 24, 2011 5:43 am

I will say the first hello. For anyone who doesn't know me my name is Kristian Mitchell-Dolby and I started Flitter Films with my partner Caley less than a year ago and the company has been officially set up for only 3 months as I write this.

There's a more detailed profile of me on the website http://www.flitterfilms.co.uk/Kristian-Mitchell-Dolby.html

We working on all sorts projects and striving to make our own work, info on all of this can be found on the website http://www.flitterfilms.co.uk/

Currently hoping this forum was a good idea so we'll see if it takes off. Of course if it is a complete flop no-one will probably ever read this.

Here's hoping you've found your way here.

Hey Kristian,

Good idea setting up a forum for your company, hopefully it will take off. I met Caley a few months back and it's been great to see you guys going from strength to strength.

I guess I'd better introduce myself, I'm a budding film maker with a couple of shorts under my belt and just trying to learn by doing. I've got a regular 9-5 job so don't have much time for film making. I love to collaborate and meet over film makers, keeps the passion alive!

Hope you are both well?

All the best

Adam

Hi Adam, nice to meet you. Not sure how strong our strengths are but at the very least we're ambitious, lol.

Know what you mean about work, we're still unsure whether we'll be able to support ourselves from Flitter Films alone right now, so in the short term could be stuck back working behind a bar or stacking shelves or something. It's a bummer but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Keep an eye out here and if there's anything we're up to you want to get involved don't hesitate to speak out.

Hi Kristian

Just stumbled across you guys somewhere on facebook (I think!) We are screenwriters who have just "finished" writing a screenplay for a 15 episode adult serial Drama, our next stage is finding a production company to produce it and or funding and a way to get it produced ourselves. So Im out doing the "meeting new people" thing, and i would rather meet people who are also in the early stages like us as their vision may not be all cynical and tainted (yet!)

Hi ... er ... ninjas (you didn't leave an actual name, lol),

Good to hear from you. We've just begun production on the pilot for our new webseries so forgive my late reply. We've shot three days and have two more planned so right in the middle of things.

Be happy to discuss your project and offer any help we can. We aren't in a position to assist with funding I'm afraid, it's enough of a stress putting money together for our own works, but we have a few contacts and useful types. I myself am an editor with my own Avid which is always helpful.

Hope we can chat some more, just open up some topics to get some talk going or give me an email at kristian.mitchelld@flitterfilms.co.uk

Can't guarantee how prompt I'll be in responding, like I said we're right in the middle of it. but will do my best.

Bye for now
