This could be the most ludicrous idea we've ever had, in fact I strongly suspect it is, but here we are hoping to rouse some interest.
The hopes and dreams of this forum experiment is to not only build up a following for Flitter Films who we can keep regularly updated, it is also to bring frank discussions about what it is to be a new filmmaker clawing at the bottom rung of the industry.
Whilst you can share success stories and brag about the lunch you just had with the Weinsteins we want this forum to be for those of us cutting corners, making sacrifices and sleeping on our friends couches in order to be making films just for the sheer love of filmmaking (as well as the desire to one day get paid of course).
We want advice and honest discussion about haphazardly starting out in an industry that doesn't really have a set career path anyway.
Basically we hope you find in this place a friendly atmosphere where you can talk openly regardless of how experienced or how tiny your project is, because every project, regardless of it's significance, is important to it's author.
Thank you. Fingers crossed this works.
