The old argument of the artist versus the business man. Is the artist in you outraged everytime someone says "it's all a business"? Does debating sales and money make you feel dirty? Have you ever heard someone talking about how you should make something just because it's marketable and wanted to punch them in the face?
Hell, I'd have to answer yes to all those questions. I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling like every talk about business shaves a layer off my artistic integrity, but on the other hand using the term "artisitic integrity" makes me feel like a massive twat. It feels like a lose-lose situation so how do we get over it?
