What we're planning next ...

Once the first episode of 'Donald Newman ...' is online we are looking to get into production on a handful of super simple shorts (i.e. ones that can be made for next to nothing).

In this regard we will be interested in possible taking other writers and directors with projects they are trying to make for festivals or competitions. Since we will be fully equipment for camera, sound and editing we will be able to produce projects with no equipment hire aside from some potentially lighting required but these things can be done quite cheaply.

This will kick off our 'Pocket Change' film series, a bunch of shorts made with little to no money for whatever purpose suits them at the time. Please note that these will need to have a purose, a goal if you will, and it is not our responsibility to make sure your project has said goal (an upcoming festival or competition or submission deadline of some sort).

Further topics will be posted about this but hopefully this wets some of your apetites for things to come.

With 'Donald Newman' entering production we can think about what we want to do next. Our first two 'Pocket Change' (i.e zero budget) shorts are in mind.

'Two Dead Men' the story of two spirits tasked to greet the recently deceased, however, they seem to view it as more of a punishment, and an untitled thriller with only two characters currently simply named 'psycho' and 'victim'. There's also a slightly bigger short film project we are looking to put together which is considerably more complicated than these two so needs a bit more thought.

'Two Dead Men' and the thriller are big character pieces so it's all about the script and the acting, in terms of shooting they're quite simple although there's plenty of room to be creative. The two of them could probably be shot within a week so we will be planning those mostly like for the end of August.
